Adult ADHD, bought one search at a time

Two campaigns, eight ad groups, 120 headlines. Every claim traces to a line on the landing page — including the one claim that could get the whole account pulled if it drifted.

The rule that governs every line

This is buried in the offer copy inside script.js, not in the HTML — easy to miss, and easy to violate by accident.

Non-negotiable

₹999 buys thirty minutes with a psychologist. It does not buy Dr. Vinod Kumar.

A psychologist takes the first session and does not prescribe. Dr. Vinod is a separate consultation at more than twice the price, and he is booked four to five weeks out. No headline in this campaign puts his name next to the ₹999 figure.

Get this wrong and it is a Google misrepresentation risk on one side, and a patient discovering it at the clinic door on the other. Authority lines may say Dr. Vinod Kumar's clinic, or cite the practice's thirty years. They may not say he takes the first appointment.

Three things gate the enable

Both campaigns import paused on purpose. These are the reasons.

Blocks smart bidding

No paid-booking conversion exists

ADS_PAID = '' in the page. It fires nothing on a successful payment rather than fire something wrong. So Google currently cannot see a single booking.

Create the conversion action, paste its label in, and demote WhatsApp-click and Call-click to Secondary. Until then these run on Maximize Clicks — which is how they are set.

Verify before funding

The page is not clinically signed off

It carries noindex, nofollow and a source comment saying keep it out of search until the questions and the doctor label have sign-off.

That governs organic indexing, not ad serving — but I have not verified AdsBot reviews it cleanly. Run one ad group for a day and confirm approval before funding the rest.

Policy

Never remarket off this page

Google's personalized-advertising policy prohibits targeting on mental health status. Search keywords are fine. Remarketing lists, Customer Match and similar audiences built from ADHD page visitors are not.

Audiences stay on Observation only. Do not create a list from this URL.

03

Why two campaigns

The long-term value here is not the ₹999 — it is the ladder behind it. ADHD care is longitudinal, so the patients worth acquiring are the ones who can climb it and come back. That argues Bengaluru. But adult ADHD is a thin local market, and an over-funded campaign in a thin market is how Google talks you into loose matches.

CampaignBudgetAd groupsReasoning
BengaluruPresence targeting only ₹1,800per day all 8 The only geography where the whole ladder is deliverable in person. Jayanagar and the 65 reviews function as proof here, not decoration.
India OnlinePresence targeting only ₹1,200per day 4 Absorbs budget the local market is too thin to spend. Carries only the groups that do not lean on location proof. Kept separate so you can compare retention before scaling it.

No city name appears in any keyword. Location targeting does that job, and geo-modified keywords only fragment volume across near-duplicate terms. near me survives because it resolves against your targeting rather than hardcoding a city.

04

The eight ad groups

Each is a responsive search ad: 15 headlines, 4 descriptions. Google shows three headlines and one description, picked at serve time — so every combination has to read as a coherent ad. Hit shuffle to see what the rotation actually produces.

05

What we refuse to pay for

53 phrase negatives on each campaign. ADHD pulls heavy student, child and medication-shopping traffic, and this list will not be enough — check Search Terms daily for the first fortnight.

Wrong person

child · children · kid · kids · toddler · teenager · paediatric · pediatric · for my son · for my daughter · school

Wrong intent

jobs · vacancy · career · salary · internship · course · certification · training · degree · syllabus · wikipedia · definition · full form · meaning in hindi · essay · ppt · pdf download

Prescription shopping

adderall · ritalin · vyvanse · concerta · buy online · without prescription · online pharmacy · medicine price

Freebie & benefits

free treatment · free medicine · free consultation doctor · government scheme · disability certificate · insurance claim

Other conditions

autism · asperger · ocd · bipolar · schizophrenia · dyslexia

Junk

buzzfeed · funny · meme · reddit

The clinic treats most of the conditions in that fifth list. They are negated to keep this campaign ADHD-only, not because the practice turns those patients away — worth its own campaign later.

06

The known weakness

Google wants six to eight sitelinks pointing at distinct deep pages. The site has two real URLs. So the file ships four, two of which share the assessment URL — that costs ad rank and reads thin on desktop.

Worth building, roughly in order of value: a pricing page, a what happens in the first session page, Dr. Vinod's profile, and a directions page. Each would also be a better landing page for its matching ad group than the single URL everything currently points at. Until then, the campaign is doing more work than the site is.

One smaller thing: the CSVs write the price as Rs.999 for safe import encoding. Switching to ₹999 in Editor frees two characters in every headline that carries it, and reads better besides.

07

Getting it live

  1. Import in numbered order. Editor → File → Import → From file. Campaigns must exist before ad groups, ad groups before keywords and ads.
  2. Re-check the review count. 4.7 from 65 is hardcoded on the landing page and ages. Five headlines and a callout cite it.
  3. Create the paid-booking conversion and paste its label into the page. This is the first fix, not the campaign.
  4. Enable one ad group for a day and confirm approval before funding the other seven.
  5. Watch Self-Test and Symptoms. Cheapest clicks, furthest from a booking. They earn their place only if the free screener converts into paid slots. If it hasn't in two weeks, move that budget to Booking, Cost and Speed.
  6. Brand should cost almost nothing. If it spends real money, someone is bidding on the clinic's name.
